New Bern Federal Building National Register of Historic Places Registration Application The U.S. Post Office, Courthouse, and Custom House at 413 Middle Street in New Bern, Craven County, North Carolina, was nominated and certified for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places in 2018. The property was recognized at the local level of significance under National Register Criteria A and C for its historical and architectural importance. Classified as a federally owned public building, it was officially entered into the National Register on August 7, 2018. These images are of the registration application for that designation. -
