A black-and-white photograph capturing a creatively decorated float from a 1960s parade in New Bern, NC, featuring young men dressed in football uniforms. The plaque on the back of the float features a poem about a "little black bear" suggesting that this was float for the New Bern High School football team. The poem follows the poem Little Jack Horner and reads "A little black bear sat in the air, eating his victory pie. He stuck in his thumb, and pulled out a [phantom] and said what a good bear am I."
